Welcome to Ahavoli Family Service Centre – a place dedicated to building stronger, healthier families. We provide enrichment programs, professional counselling, and training in counselling psychology to support individuals and families in leading balanced and fulfilling lives. At Ahavoli, we believe every family deserves guidance, care, and the tools to grow together in harmony.
About Us
About Us
At the beginning, the family apostolate ministry operated under the name of family pastoral care at Senthankulam, Ilavali. Owing to the security situation it got displaced and ceased functioning for some time. Considering the urgency of the need of the families our bishop appointed Fr. S.J. Rajanayagam in 1993 to do family apostolate together with the parish ministry. He was doing the family apostolate and counseling ministry from Pandianthalvu. In 1995 this Family services Centre came to be institutionalized by having its own centre housed at the Bankshall Street, Jaffna. Then in 2002, Centre had shifted to this place permanently got its name as AHAVOLI, Family Service Centre at St. Patrick’s Road, Jaffna.
